A Return to Astrophotography Last month I attended my first ever astronomy night! Columbus State University hosted the event at Providence Canyon State Park in Georgia, and it was a fantastic night. I had the opportunity to meet other people interested in the hobby as well as being able to image some targets I never have before under near perfect conditions! Another First Light Image This photo was taken on the same night I imaged The Horsehead and Flame Nebula. If you have not read that post yet, be sure to check it out as it includes much more detail than this one! I imaged the Rosette Nebula the same night as The Horsehead and Flame Nebula, which was the first night I used my new astrophotography equipment.
